Don't Eat The Sandy Snow. Snow Pictures!

By Beth P. Storie | Friday, January 31, 2014

Snow. Quiet. Normal life joyfully interrupted. Clickable beauty everywhere you look.

We all awoke to the Outer Banks as a vision in white, like a bride wrapped in flowing white silk and filigree veil. So, for today, most of us settle in, cook some yummy comfort food and cozy up to whatever keeps us warm. We here at OuterBanksThisWeek.com hope you're loving this swerve from usual...even if you're one of those who declare that they hate this frozen wonderland. You have to admit it's a sight you'll long remember and relate to friends..."remember that big storm we had? what was that? winter of 2014?" You'll tell people about this one for years to come. Send us your favorite snow pics! photos@oneboat.com

About the Author Beth P. Storie
Beth Storie first came to the Outer Banks for the summer of 1976. She fell in love with the area and returned for good three years later. She and her husband published the national guidebook series, The Insiders' Guides, for more than 20 years and now are building OneBoat guides into another national brand. After spending time in many dozens of cities around the country, she absolutely believes that her hometown of Manteo is the best place on earth, especially when her two children, six cats and one dog are there too.
