Block Play Extravaganza
Children & Youth Partnership for Dare County was excited to hold our Annual Block Play Extravaganza in Nags Head on March 10-11, 2023, and in Buxton on March 20, 2023.
CYP's Annual Block Play Extravaganza was held on Friday, March 10, 2023 and Saturday, March 11, 2023 at Nags Head Church in Nags Head. CYP's Block Play Extravaganza in Buxton was held on Monday, March 20, 2023 at the Fessenden Center in Buxton.
During CYP's Block Play Extravaganza, families are able to experience the fun of math and science learning through block play during this interactive building extravaganza for parents and children 8 months to 5 years of age. Block Play Extravaganza provides families and their young children a hands-on learning laboratory to interact and gain understanding of the math and science concepts learned through block play. Early Childhood Educators from Children & Youth Partnership will be available to demonstrate techniques that can help parents maximize their child's learning.
