Hatteras Island Events4th Annual Run in the Sand 5K Road/Beach Race & 1 Mile Fun Run

Announcing the 4th Annual NCSHP / MADD / NCLEAP Run In The Sand. Proceeds go to Mothers Against Drunk Driving and North Carolina Law Enforcement Assistance Program. The event consists of a 1 mile Fun Run / Walk which begins at 9:30 am. The 5K, which courses through the lighthouse grounds, begins at 10:00 am. Lastly, a M.A.D.D.
