Event Description:
With the guidance and assistance of local potter, Edith Camp of Catfish Pottery, you will create your own piece of functional pottery using slabs of clay, patterns, textures stamps and your imagination. You’ll be able to get your hands dirty and enjoy the process of turning a lump of clay into a handmade piece of pottery to keep and use. Once your piece is assembled, you may pick your choice of glaze. We will then dry, bisque fire, glaze and fire your piece again. The process takes about two weeks. Upon completion, we’ll ship your new piece of pottery to you.
