What a Great week in Corolla!!  Sunny Hot and the fishn ain't bad. People catching fish all day long is what I'm hearing off the beach. We have mullet, croaker, spot, trout, and the spanish and bluefish bite. There is no one bait working right now from what I here in the shop is all the bait is working. So if your not catching fish you must be doing something wrong. Good bit early morning and late afternoon on metal lure is the ticket. I hears a lot of people mention some big hook up's and some manage to hold on for a short time and some anglers getting a peek at it before breaking off!! No positive ID but it could be king mackerel or perhaps barracuda by the description I'm hearing, in any case running steel leaders will be your best protection against this!
The piers have a good mix this morning and really not worth listing them all because its the same as we are catching but the big surprise is there has been king mackerel caught at the pier so this might be what we are seeing here they also have some pompano which should be out in our surf as well but haven't heard of any getting hooked. The nearshore boats getting all the blues and Spanish and albacore they want. Offshore still fighting the sharks on the tuna grounds some days there not to active and others it's hard to get one in. In the mix both yellow and balckfin and mahi. The deep drop for tilefish and sea bass has been very good. We will keep you up to date but the fishing is awesome right now.

Big shout out to everyone sending in there phots we do appreciate them and the reports I can only post one a day so I have some catching up to do. Congratulations to Mike and Graham from Annapolis MD they have been enjoying some great fishing this week keep up the good work guy's and Thanks for the pic!!
