Good Saturday morning it's out with the old and in with the new as we change over this weekend. We had a great group of people in last week and they had a good one. I had a lot of comments last week that they come every year and never catch anything, well they all had a great few day's in a row with stellar fishing. Right now the water is at 61 today with flat conditions and this cooler water will keep some fish at bay there will be croaker, mullet, spot and there should be trout and some bluefish out there. The flounder were very active last week so will have to wait a least a couple of days to see if we get any better water temps. We also saw a lot of good shark catches, and the good news is that these guys are always looking for a free meal. The piers picked up late afternoon with a so-so bag of fish. Sheepshead, pins, balk seabass, flounder, triggerfish to mention a few. The nearshore boats struggled a bit as the week ended with mostly bluefish, Offshore action is good with nice size yellowfins and blackfin with a few mahi These are nice fish being caught as long as the sharks aren't around.
We do have some charters still open this week so just give us a call and we will get you out there!!  And keep sending in your pictures of your catch we really do like them just send them to obxbaitandtackle@yahoo.com and we will post you in the next fish report.
