Offshore from Oregon Inlet
Inshore from Oregon Inlet
Corolla to Nags Head Piers
Corolla to Nags Head Surf
Corolla to Nags Head Sound

Cooler air temps but it is a relief from the heat. The water is sitting nicely at 74 along the coast which is good for us and the offshore fleet. We have mullet, croaker, spot, bluefish and Spanish hitting the lines. All and all not bad. There is a lot of bait in the water now so look for the blues and Spanish to follow them and a great time to throw some metal around. The waves are a little taller for at least today and tomorrow but they are fishable. The piers are improving also with blues, trout, mullet, Spanish and flounder. The nearshore boats fitting the wind yesterday with many opting to stay to the inside but finding plenty of spanish and blues. There are ribbonfish and the trout on the inside. Offshore boats did make it out and fond blue marlin, sailfish, yellowfin, mahi, wahoo and blackfin. The cooler temps helped offshore the temps last week were getting close to shutting it down, but the fish are back and ready to play.
We have charters from half day to all day fishing along with crab and shrimp trips and the shrimping has been very good. I was down at the dock yesterday and one of the boats came in with at least 200lbs of shrimp alone !! Give us a call anytime and we will get your trip all set up all you do is show up and jump on the boat.
