Corolla to Nags Head Piers
Corolla to Nags Head Surf
Corolla to Nags Head Sound

Beautiful morning out today but hot. We have 1 foot waves and the wind out of the west this morning, with a 63 degree water temp. Not a lot to report I took some student's out yesterday that had never fished before and I can say we had a lot of fun. We did manage to get 26 fish pulled in. The only bad news is they were all small  , croaker, mullet and spot, fish bites working the best. So congratulations Nisa and Pop on your first catch. Somewhat of a good currant with 3 to 4 oz lead to hold bottom and the fish bites were key. The piers with triggerfish and Nags Head getting a good bluefish run along with mullet, croakers. Nearshore boats having some good times with a good amount of ribbonfish, king's, spanish, albacore while the inshore had drum, trout and shark. Offshore only had a few boats out and brought home wahoo with yellow and blackfin and some good size mahi
