Well here we go !!! Dorian is just now starting and I just want to give some advise to those who read the page. I have had text messages and phone calls for this next week and the only thing that I can say is be patient. I have talked to some folks that are planning to be here Saturday morning and I strongly suggest that you delay and make the proper phone calls. After the storm passes it will take time for residencs and businesses to reopen. Depending on the power as well. many roads will be flooded and under the houses will have significant flooding.. The 4x4 beach roads will be flooded and impassible. some roads may just be gone!! Folks that have charters for next week may have to be moved many boats have pulled out of the water and it takes time to put them back in the water and it will depend on where they are in the line up. All I can say is be patient things can move fast around here but if your planning to be here Saturday or even Sunday don't expect to get in they will have the bridge shut down. Be smart and be safe, I will try to get something out after the storm. We will try to keep you posted providing we have have communications and a cell network. See you guy's on the other side we are hunkered down here on the island eating good and waiting.
