Corolla to Nags Head Sound

Well we have a nice day out this morning. We still have some large waves but the good news is they should start to die down this evening opening up the rest of the week for some much better conditions. The water today around 73 and rough. Have not heard much off the beach just due to the rough conditions so we will just have to wait on the new group in this week to go out and see what they catch. Congratulations to Mark from Indiana on his puppy drum, I am sorry I did not see the picture till today, but great job Mark!! Jennette's pier reporting 6 40 inch + red drum this morning with spot, mullet and blues. Nearshore boats you should find trout, mullet, Spanish, bluefish and more than likely some drum on the inside. Offshore there just hasn't been anyone out recently but with any luck we will see some better conditions this week.
