We finally have some news, anglers are catching fish once again in Corolla!! We had a phone in report with at least one angler getting some black drum, croaker and some decent size mullet on shrimp. It is the only report I had yesterday but I will take it. There is still a stiff currant and will take 4 to 5 oz. to hold bottom but it is nice to be able to get back to it. I would expect to see some puppy drum, trout and bluefish out there as well. it should be a decent day to be out there the wind will shift this afternoon to a west wind so this will help conditions out greatly. The piers have puppy drum, trout, mullet, croaker with some bluefish and 2 big reds on Jennette's this morning. There has been a good trout bite on the little bridge and a good amount of drum down at the point. The nearshore boats found plenty of trout and striper. Offshore finally made it out and they brought home tuna, mahi, king mackerel, wahoo and a few marlin released. The waves today 2 to 3 feet with a water temp of around 70
