Offshore from Oregon Inlet
Inshore from Oregon Inlet
Corolla to Nags Head Piers
Corolla to Nags Head Surf
Corolla to Nags Head Sound

Despite the wind it was still a good day of fishing!! The surf should be fairly flat today with the wind blowing off shore with a water temp of 61 today. I would like to see the water a little warmer but the fish are here. Corolla and Carova has had some good fishing with decent puppy drum fishing mainly on shrimp seems to be working the best. One of our fisherman who's name I still don't know caught this nice 6 foot sand bar shark on the 4x4 beach and his fish count continues to go up , I believe he is having a good week. The local surf has been enjoying some pretty good puppy drum action some just falling short of the slot but there has been a fair share in the slot. We also have reports of trout, blues, mullet, croaker. The piers not really to hot today with skate, mullet and trout way down at OBX pier. The little bridge has the puppy drum going off there also with trout and black drum. The near shore boats still did pretty good despite the wind blowing pretty good yesterday. The boats came back with Spanish, bluefish, trout and drum. The offshore boat fishing  is outstanding!! The Little Shell one of our top boats in our fleet and you can see the catch above. There are real good numbers of yellowfin hitting the rail with big eye's and the mahi bite did pick up with some good gaffers hitting the side. If that's not enough fish for you most captains after filling the box with the tuna will stop to do some deep drops and the are getting there share of tile fish. Just a good mix of table fare to bring home to throw on the grill !!

We are just about booked out this week for charters. If you are coming to the banks next week and thinking of a charter call ahead and reserve your spot now. Also remember to send those phots in to the shop and we will post you in the fish report and make you a star for the day!! We will keep you posted and up to date on the fishing conditions and we thank you.
