Another beautiful day on the sand bar. We will have some wind today and it will increase as the week goes on, so it looks like we go back to the norm. Some news of the beach we are seeing some bluefish come in and jumping around. There are mullet, croakers, pins, bluefish and some puppy drum and still no word on the Spanish yet. The water was really nice but it just did not hold we dipped back to 64 this morning, but fear not, we will start to see the waves pick up a little starting tomorrow and maybe just what we need to kick the fishing up a notch. Nearshore boats on the ocean side saw cobia, king mackerel, Spanish and blues. On the inside trout, blues, red drum and Spanish. The offshore fleet found plenty of yellowfin a good mahi bite and big eye up to 158#s and a blue marlin released. The sound side is doing very good for anyone that maybe thinking of a kayak or pontoon boat and even the shore fishing has been good the drum are still biting.
