Great day out today. Short report today it's hot, and calm in the ocean. We have a lot of mullet in the water we did have some citations come in to be weighed. There have been some puppy drum a couple in the slot and some just undersized, pin fish, pig fish. The piers have a mix of some puppies, Spanish, blue's and trout. I am not hearing much off the beach up here on Spanish or blue's which is a little strange. The nearshore boats have been a little on the slow side despite what I am seeing in other reports. My captains say that it has been a bit slow some day's better than others but that is fishing. There is a bunch of ribbon fish with Spanish and bluefish, with some trout and drum to the inside. The offshore fishing is well how do I put it, AMAZING the yellowfin are abundant with some big eye's, wahoo good mahi and some blue marlin getting released.

We had a nice sunset the other night and a full rainbow. Send those photos in to obxbaitandtackle@yahoo.com
Charters are up and running and if your planning on going fishing plan on booking ahead of time to get a spot we are currently filled up for the week and it's only Tuesday!! So call ahead of time please 252-453-3339
