Offshore from Oregon Inlet
Inshore from Oregon Inlet
Corolla to Nags Head Piers
Corolla to Nags Head Surf
Corolla to Nags Head Sound

Going to be Hot and Humid today. We have a good wind from the southwest which has cooled the water back to 64 with 2-foot waves today. Sorry I missed you yesterday the shop has just been crazy with only the two of us in here. The only real news I have is there is a good mullet bite going on, and Iknow that's not too exciting to some but it does beet working. Not sure why we aren't seeing an explosion of the blues and the spanish this year they are here but just not getting hooked. We also are seeing spot and croakers and small pompano, lets hope their bigger friends come to visit. The piers have mullet on them as far as I can tell. The nearshore fleet has some big drum around the inlet and there is spanish, king mackerel, and some bluefish. The offshore fleet still has a real good bite on the tilefish which is some really good table fare. There are a few yellow and blackfin hitting the rail with mahi some wahoo and white and blue marlin with some sails out there.

If you're interested in a charter we are still filling up fast so plan on booking a trip in advance to ensure you get to go. Call 252-453-3339 and don't forget to send in your photos to obxbaitandtackle@yahoo.com

Just an update we will not see a delivery truck for two more weeks and the store is quickly getting depleted. we will try to keep the basics in stock but rod and reel combos will not last much longer so try to bring what you can from home and I do know most other shops are empty as well. We will try our best to keep things going as best as we can and we thank you.
