Well, Well, Well what do we have here. The weather has been perfect, with good ocean conditions. Some good news did come in this morning. Spanish and bluefish are hitting lures and bait up on the 4x4 beach which we have been waiting for quite a while now. Another report locally has one angler pulling in what sounds like big mullet up to 18" as he described and he has caught a bunch this morning!! The Jowell group sent in some photos to us when they were here at the beginning of the month while staying up on the 4x4 beach and practicing their fishing skills. A good group of people we enjoyed having them in and look forward to seeing them next year. The piers have mullet, blues, and spot with some sheepshead. Nearshore boats reporting ribbonfish, albacore, Spanish, and trout. Good drum fishing on the inside. There is a big ole tournament going on this week and the offshore boats are getting plenty of marlins and there is a good Mahi action along with the tilefish.
The water today is 73 degrees so get out there and fish!!
