Offshore from Oregon Inlet
Inshore from Oregon Inlet
Corolla to Nags Head Piers
Corolla to Nags Head Surf
Corolla to Nags Head Sound

A sunny Tuesday morning today. The water with this westerly wind @ 12 kts. has cooled the water down to 68 this morning, so we will see if this affects anything on the fishing front. The waves up slightly to 2' so maybe that will help stir up some food for the fish to come in. We should still see the mullet and croaker and spot around and with any luck, we may see some puppy drum out of this. A few flounder caught this morning as well. The piers I didn't get a report from. The nearshore fleet has been finding plenty of ribbonfish, albacore with trout, and drum on the inside. The offshore guys are having a good time with the white marlin and blue marlin and there are plenty to choose from. Only a few wahoo it really has been hit or miss on these guys, however, the dolphin bite has picked back up many boats had their limits. The tuna are still around just not in big numbers and the bottom fishing has been fantastic but will end at the end of the month so cash in now and take advantage of some tasty critters.

We do have charters available this week and I have really not been able to say that all season long due to the overwhelming demand. We also have crab and shrimp trips available and they have been doing very well on both, It's that time of the season to do it the shrimp are big this time of year an these are fun trips to do!!

Send your pictures into us and we will post them in our fish report at obxbaitandtackle@yahoo.com  and we thank you
