We are wrapping up August, finally. It's been a crazy season thus far and we aren't done yet. Fall is in the air and we have a stiff wind out of the SW at 15 kts. The waves are 1 foot to flat with 72-degree water tamp. Much of the same and there are good days and bad. We have seen some good puppy drum this last week with mullet, croaker, and spot. Some good shark fishing and sometimes a ray. Most folks are catching fish and the youngsters have been quite entertained with the fishing this week. The good news is we have finally got a delivery truck in so we are trying to get stuff on the shelves once again, I mean we were bare. The pier fishing has pompano, mullet, and some blues. The nearshore fleet has ribbons, albacore, and spanish with the trout and drum on the inside. Offshore has no problems putting you on a marlin right now and for a bonus, there is yellowfin and blackfin hitting the dock too.
