Corolla Fish Report

OBX Bait & Tackle Corolla Outer Banks, Corolla Fish report

Offshore from Oregon Inlet
Inshore from Oregon Inlet
Corolla to Nags Head Piers
Corolla to Nags Head Surf
Corolla to Nags Head Sound

Strong surf can bring in almost anything along the beach, and it did today. Never have we seen a T-Rex come into the store but there's a first time for everything. Young Riley and Ella stopped from Toledo OH stopped in to pay us a visit and snap this shot of them and we thank you both for adding some humor to start the day off.
Should be a little better out today and tomorrow for fishing. The waves will be smaller today and even better tomorrow, so the conditions won't get better than this so take advantage of it and get out there and FISH !!  There has been a fair amount of puppy drum reported and not too much of anything else except mullet from what I have heard off the beach. But who knows every day is different.
The piers are looking good this morning with all reporting puppy drum and big drum with bluefish, spot, and mullet. The nearshore guys have for the most part been confined to the inside but there are spanish and blues and drum around the inlet. Offshore has been quite what with the rough surf.

Do you have any scary picture or any of you catches off the beach you want in the fish report? It's easy just send them to obxbaitandtackle@yahoo.com

FYI it's a great time for a shrimping trip, boats are available call us at 252-453-3339 keep what you catch!! YUM
