Offshore from Oregon Inlet
Inshore from Oregon Inlet
Corolla to Nags Head Piers
Corolla to Nags Head Surf
Corolla to Nags Head Sound

If you like drum fishing, You're in the right place!!  We have a wonderful day out this morning with calm winds big surf and a tuff rip current. The drum fishing has been good in Corolla and we will have a load of fresh bait coming in some time today. Most of the fish are in the slot ranging between 20 to 28 inches. Along with them are small black drum, mullet, trout some blues. So a good mix of fish and just a nice way to spend some time on the beach and enjoy this nice weather. The piers are a little slower but they are hitting some drum, mullet, trout, and blues. The nearshore boats have Spanish and rockfish with drum and a great trout bite on the bayside. Offshore boats were tied up due to the wind. So get up off the sofa and go FISH !! Almost forgot to give Nick his shout out of the day sending in his pic of a keeper drum on the sound side, and yes they are on both sides. The drum seem to be hitting on just about anything right now I have had a bunch of different reports from fish bites and sand fleas to mullet and shrimp.

Charters are open and send those pictures to us at obxbaitandtackle@yahoo.com
