OBX Bait & Tackle Corolla Outer Banks, Corolla Fish report
Monday, November 9, 2020
Offshore from Oregon Inlet
Inshore from Oregon Inlet
Corolla to Nags Head Piers
Corolla to Nags Head Surf
Corolla to Nags Head Sound

Some more nice weather today but the waves are increasing. They are up today to about 4 feet and will get larger tomorrow. A fairly strong current yesterday I was out for a short time and only came up with one puffer. The fishing down in my area has been good the last several days, so hopefully, we see it pick up somewhat today. There are puppy drum, trout, black drum, and small blues running around. The piers reporting the same this morning. The nearshore boats were out and found spanish and blues while the bayside reports drum and trout. The offshore fleet doing well with the tuna with black and yellowfin hitting the rail with some wahoo and mahi coming to the table as well. Some boats also got in some bottom fishing and hit a good amount of sea bass.
It took at least a 4oz weight to hold bottom yesterday with shrimp in my opinion has been working the best, followed by fish bites and mullet. Water temp at 64 and we will keep you posted and have a great day folks!!
