OBX Bait & Tackle Corolla Outer Banks, Corolla Fish Report
Monday, March 22, 2021
Offshore from Oregon Inlet
Inshore from Oregon Inlet
Corolla to Nags Head Piers
Corolla to Nags Head Surf
Corolla to Nags Head Sound

Early arrivals in March. It has been a few days so I thought I would put something out. We do have a few folks coming in and the fishing along the beach and even sound side are on the tough side. The water in the surf is a chilly 46 so there really isn't going to be much of anything bitting out there. It has been windy for the past few days out of the North and the water is low on the sound side making it really not worth it. Some local ponds do hold bass in them and that least that might be worth shot.

The store is open from 9 to 3 for now until things pick up a bit. The charter desk is open for early bookings and we have folks going out at the end of the month. Word has it there are yellowfin out there now which is early and will only get better, so we could see a very good year on the tuna. Most captains are still getting their boats ready and seem like some are shooting for around April 2nd to be ready for the season and some not until May. Thats about it for now we will keep you posted.
