Corolla to Nags Head Surf
Corolla to Nags Head Sound

Here we go, looks like quite of few folks are coming in for the Easter holiday, and I wish I could say that I'm ready but I will digress. I know what people are going to want to know, what's biting, and how do I catch them. Well, I got nothing. The ocean temp did pop back up to 50 degrees but we will need more than that to get these fish up and moving. Dogfish and skate are what's going to be out there for now. The piers are reporting the same. There are ribbonfish and albacore on the half-day boats and there are tuna out there for any all-day charters that go out and that's it folks for now till we get some warmer water. On the sound side, we are still a few degrees off for the trout to begin to bite and all I have heard about are some good size catfish getting caught. We should see some warmer temps this week so that will be a nice change for sure. We will keep you posted.
