Corolla to Nags Head Piers
Corolla to Nags Head Surf
Corolla to Nags Head Sound

Scratchy fishing sums it up. The water temp and conditions are looking good and it's going to start to kick off at some point but it does remain slow up here and even to the south. But as I am writing this up I am seeing some movement on some fish. I heard some of the first bluefish hit south of the inlet and I am now picking up that they are north of the inlet now. Speckled trout are moving around but no big numbers just yet and you will usually catch these early mornings and at dusk. So the piers are seeing bluefish, shad, mullet, and trout so things are trying to get going. Our 1/2 day boat was out yesterday and scored some seabass as seen above. The offshore fleet was out but not very many boats however they did well with yellowfin, blackfin, and wahoo. This is a late report today we will see what tomorrow brings.

Charter people if you thinking of a charter this summer book it early we are starting to really see the summer filling up so just plan ahead to ensure your day and time that you want.

Got pictures you can send them into us at obxbaitandtackle@yahoo.com we will post them proudly !!
