OBX Bait & Tackle Corolla Outer Banks, Corolla Fish Report

Offshore from Oregon Inlet
Inshore from Oregon Inlet
Corolla to Nags Head Piers
Corolla to Nags Head Surf
Corolla to Nags Head Sound

The fishing has been slow, but we have some fabulous weather for the next few days so get outside and enjoy the sunshine. We don't have any reports of the large drum down in Hatteras and it may have slowed but I am sure they are around.  The little bridge is slow with a few trout. The inshore fleet found a really good bite on the puppy drum on both morning and afternoon trips with some catfish. The nearshore guys had seabass, ribbonfish. The offshore fleet had outstanding fishing and the mahi have moved back in. One boat had caught their share of 50 mahi and other boats did well also. There was plenty of yellowfin, blackfin, wahoo, and king mackerel bagged as well. One sailfish caught and released. That's all we have for today.

For charters remember to book early if you can especially for offshore trips for the tuna these trips are filling up fast for the summer.
If you have any pictures you can send them to us at obxbaitandtackle@yahoo.com and we will post you in the next fish report and we thank you.
