Corolla Fish Report

OBX Bait & Tackle Corolla Outer Banks, Corolla Fish Report
Sunday, May 2, 2021
Offshore from Oregon Inlet
Inshore from Oregon Inlet
Corolla to Nags Head Piers
Corolla to Nags Head Surf
Corolla to Nags Head Sound

All is quiet and we have a good wind. It seems like the wind just won't go away but it is laying down the waves. The good news is we finally hit 59 degrees, water temp, now if it will just hold or go up just a little more we should see these fish come alive. Plenty of baitfish have moved in and the bird and dolphin are working. The fish are still hard to get on the line but you will catch some. Since it is no report Sunday info is hard to get a hold of. The piers are seeing some mullet today and there is a lot of trout in the water and you can get one here and there but you will see more than you catch. Along the shore here we have mullet and a little drum activity. There are fish on the move is the good news even reports from the nearshore boats are just starting to see the cobia on the move so just a little more water temp and things will begin to go off. Ill keep it short for today and see what I can find out tomorrow.
