Inshore from Oregon Inlet
Corolla to Nags Head Piers
Corolla to Nags Head Surf
Corolla to Nags Head Sound

Mullet is the word today. Reports off the beach is everyone has been catching mullet and spot and a few bluefish too. The water temp is still 57 today with a southwest wind blowing around 15 to 20 mph. The surf is pretty calm and I am just glad to see some activity in the surf and these mullets are a tasty fish to eat. The piers are seeing some trout and mullet. There was a few trout also caught this morning at the little bridge. Down at the point, the bigger red drum are still on the bite and there are puppy drum and mullet at most of the ramps. The offshore fleet had a mixed bag yesterday with yellow and blackfin and dolphin. Limits of king mackerel were caught and some tilefish. Well, a little editing one of my captains just called me as I just finished the report and said the cobia are here and he caught his limit on the way back into port. So if your thinking of a charter next week it will be a great time to go out after these guys.

Charters are available just give us a call at 252-453-3339 and we will do the rest.
