Offshore from Oregon Inlet
Inshore from Oregon Inlet
Corolla to Nags Head Piers
Corolla to Nags Head Surf
Corolla to Nags Head Sound

Some spotty showers this morning. We still have a strong current but it should begin to weaken today and as we go forward. We did have a report of some nice size trout being caught this morning by one angler so there are fish there.  The water temp is holding at 68 degrees which is very good for us this time of year. The waves are a little down today around 3 feet and will die down about a foot a day ending up at 1 foot for Friday. It has been fairly quiet this week so far just due to that rip current hopefully that goes away more each day as well. The piers have some bluefish on them this morning. Nearshore boats I am just not seeing any reports from these guys but I'm sure they are catching some fish. The offshore boats had a good day yesterday and the tuna were out. Big eyes weighing up 200#s and yellowfins up to 111# along with blackfin dolphin and blue marlin hitting the scales at 435#s The bottom fishing still remains good with sea bass and tiles. If you're going out on an all-day boat this week things are looking pretty good right now. We will keep you up to date.

WE have one all-day trip available this week on Wednesday if anyone is interested just call the shop at 252-453-3339

Got photos send them to us obxbaitandtackle@yahoo.com and we will post you in the fishing report!!
