Corolla to Nags Head Surf
Corolla to Nags Head Sound

What a nice day out today! Word of the beach is that the fishing was pretty good this morning and it seems the shrimp is working the best. A report of a larger bluefish in the area and I am sure the mullet are active, at least that's all I have heard about. Lots of folks out there today and the water temp sitting at 66 with 1-foot surf so the conditions aren't too bad out. The piers this morning getting blues and Spanish with an Atlantic albacore. Nearshore boaters getting bluefish and Spanish with a chance of finding the cobia. Offshore fleet out there working it and they are finding 70 to 80# yellowfin, big eye 180 to 230#s white marlin, blue marlin, mahi and some good bottom fishing as well. So in any case a great day to be fishing so enjoy.
