Offshore from Oregon Inlet
Inshore from Oregon Inlet
Corolla to Nags Head Piers
Corolla to Nags Head Surf
Corolla to Nags Head Sound

Good Monday morning to all and thanks for all the responses we got back on the mystery fish, it turns out to be a white hake and is commonly in Virginia so this little guy isn't too far from home. Everyone out fishing and so far we have had reports of flounder and still out of season with mullet and skate. The surf is still rough today the waves are down but the water is churned up and somewhat dirty today. There is a strong rip current as well so the fishing will more likely be on the slow side but you never know. We could also see puppy drum, black drum, trout, and bluefish but I think some of these fish will hold on the other side of the dirty water.
The piers this morning do have some puppies and flounder hitting the rails this morning the water temp staying at 70 degrees. The nearshore boats are out and getting blues, Spanish and triggers. On the bayside the puppy drum and trout at the news of the day. Offshore action is good providing you already have a boat lined up. Mahi. yellowfin, blackfin, big eye, white marlin, blue marlin, and very good bottom fishing for tiles and sea bass.

Got pictures you can send them to us for the fish report we welcome any size fish they don't have to be whoppers just send them to obxbaitandtackle@yahoo.com
