Corolla to Nags Head Piers

Nice day today in Corolla the water temp was 66 degrees this morning but there is warm water around this south west wind really mixes the temp up and down. The waves are calm and the water is crystal clear. We have large schools of bluefish, Mullet, Kingfish, Shark, Flounder abound with lot's of bait in the water. There have been a lot of people catching Gar fish and seeing schools of them. we even have had some trout caught also. The Piers with Avalon have flounder, spot, Bluefish, and Mullet and this is what all the piers are reporting. Nearshore/ Inshore Amberjacks, Shark, Bluefish, Cobia and on the inside Bluefish, Spanish and Drum. Offshore is on fire with Loads of really good size Yellowfin ranging in at 40 to 60 pounds limits of Mahi, Huge Wahoo from 46 to 79 pounds and the White Marlin and Blue Marlin out as well with the Blues coming in at 550 pounds. The water both in the surf as well as offshore is crystal clear this will keep the Marlin playing.
