Offshore from Oregon Inlet
Inshore from Oregon Inlet
Corolla to Nags Head Piers
Corolla to Nags Head Surf
Corolla to Nags Head Sound

We have a windy one today. It is cooler this morning and quite windy coming from the west north west at 19 with gust to 25. The waves are up to around 3 feet and will get larger for the remaining of the week. The water temp has dropped to 68 this morning but folks are still catching fish there are trout and lots of small black drum thus far.
Brendon, Jessie and Cali sent in some photos from there recent trip to Ocracoke and had a blast and caught a nice 30" drum and lots of pompano. He did take a kayak out on the sound side and said that the drum were thick and the fishing was really good so thanks for the pics you guys and we will see you soon. It maybe rough out but you might just score a nice fish Jennette's pier reported a good drum bite early this morning and my guess is there will be some around here as well. With this wind you wont find many boats on the water today so nothing to report for offshore or nearshore. We will keep you posted a we hear things and have a great day.
