Offshore from Oregon Inlet
Inshore from Oregon Inlet
Corolla to Nags Head Piers
Corolla to Nags Head Surf
Corolla to Nags Head Sound

Well if you're here I don't have to tell you it is windy and if you're not here your not missing a thing!! High wind and surf will continue till Friday before dying down then it's looking pretty good. For the folks coming in who just want to spend some time in the sun and hit the beach this just is not a good week. Some are here for two weeks so they will at least get a chance to enjoy at least one good week. Not much to report but I'm sure there are a few diehards out there at least trying and sometimes it can pay off. No boats running due to the winds but the offshore fishing has been good with a good variety of fish and nearshore were seeing a very good Spanish bite with bluefish and drum and trout to the inside before the conditions went sour. Reports this week are going to be much till we clear this nasty weather but we will let you know as soon as things return to normal. We thank you

FYI: The parking permits are now in effect for the 4x4 beach and there are rule changes. You will need to obtain the permit before you get here or you will probably not get one and next year you may not even be able to drive on the beach without one. They are also limiting the passes to 300 per week to try and cut down on the traffic on the beach you can check out this link and good luck. https://co.currituck.nc.us/beach-parking/
