Offshore from Oregon Inlet
Inshore from Oregon Inlet
Corolla to Nags Head Piers
Corolla to Nags Head Surf
Corolla to Nags Head Sound

Wacky Wednesday. Well, we do see the fishing picking up. The beach up here has been plagued with a lot of seagrass just making it difficult to catch fish. We did have a report of a drum and a big bluefish with some smaller mullet but otherwise slow. The water temp has rebounded overnight back to 64 degrees which will really turn the fishing back on. I am not sure if the seagrass is still a problem this morning just no word off the beach yet. The piers picked up yesterday as well with some drum, trout, mullet, and some big bluefish. The old Bonner bridge at Oregon inlet landed some good fish yesterday with some big sheepshead along with the Little bridge turned on as well. There was an 8.4# trout caught along with a bunch of 7#ers and smaller ones. So if the beach is not working there are options for you. Kayakers did well also down in that area finding schools of drum and trout around the inlets and the backside of the islands. The nearshore boats did find some cobia and there will be trout and drum around. The offshore fleet struggled a bit but did come back with mahi, yellowfin, blackfin some big eye, and billfish so not a total loss.

These next few days are looking good along the shore this could be the day that makes your trip so stay alert!!
