Bumpy Hump day. A lot of anglers are saying it's slow but not for Brandon as he sent this photo in this morning of a real nice drum. Great job sir and thanks for the pic. Also had a phone report of some decent fishing up by the state line and landed a cobia, drum, and other goodies. However, there are a lot of fishermen getting little to nothing but that's how it goes sometimes. The fishing does seem on the slow side as the piers are also slow as well and it feels like we are just changing over into a different season. Nearshore boats doing well and we have had a good mix of fish with Spanish, blues, ribbons a couple of days we also saw amberjacks and false albacore in close. Drum and trout on the bayside. Offshore getting billfish, wahoo some mahi and yellowfin, and some good size tilefish.

Charters were available this week but boy did they fill up fast today I might have one 1/2 day left so if you're coming up next week plan ahead everyone is waiting till the last minute.

Send your photos and questions to obxbaitandtackle@yahoo.com and we thank you.
