Croaker, Mullet, Spot common say it with me Croaker Mullet, Spot !! So If you read this report please don't come in and ask what's bitting. I hear that 150 times a day and there is a daily fish report right outside of the door you can't miss it and it tells you everything you need to know, save me the pain, please. Second question what do I need? I shouldn't have to figure out what language you're speaking. Definition what bait do I need? Then I tell you and most people come to the counter with the complete opposite of what I said then two days later complain that there not catching fish. All the bait we carry is for a reason, it works just pick one and try it. This is about the time of the year when we become sleep-deprived and almost brainwashed. We are in our 7th month of seven days a week with no breaks and no help, we are lucky if we can choke down lunch in 4 minutes flat. So let's try something I will give you 10% off your entire purchase if you ask so how's the fishing, Good, Bad, or Ugly. I will honor that from now till August 16 to give people a chance that comes in next week. I won't repeat it in any other report it's a one-shot chance. I might give hints along the way the rest will be up to you. I may do this periodically if I see that it's working. Good Luck!!

So you can probably guess what's happening along the surf and we have been plagued with a southwest wind for far too long now but this week end we do have a wind change so we will have to wait and see what's going to happen. In Corolla on the sound side on our charter boat, the fishing has been good with drum, black drum, trout, perch, croaker, catfish, and plenty of them. Our nearshore ocean boats have seen some good drum finishing along with albacore, Spanish, ribbons, and blues. Offshore nice size yellowfin, blackfin, mahi, wahoo and white and blue marlin.

Charters are available just call the shop for details and don't forget about the crab and shrimp carter the shrimp are getting bigger!!
