OBX Bait & Tackle Corolla Outer Banks, Corolla Fishing Report
Wednesday, April 26, 2017
Offshore from Oregon Inlet
Inshore from Oregon Inlet
Corolla to Nags Head Piers

Under drizzly skies today and cloudy. The waves today will be around 4 feet this morning and they will start to die down this afternoon and we will get back into some fishable conditions. The water is going to be on the muddy side but as we move forward into this weekend things will improve greatly. The water temp today is at 59 degrees this morning. Up here we still are getting kingfish, mullet and puffers. Not to many anglers right now to get a very good reports. The fishing on the beaches the last few day's has been rough due to the nasty weather but they are still catching fish to the south. At the point and moving northward still have some big drum being caught and some big bluefish as well. Due to the bad weather the little bridge maybe the hot spot with a good trout bite and big bluefish moving through might be your best bet. The piers have mullet, puffers, albacore and bluefish. Inshore should have trout, bluefish and albacore to catch. Offshore no reports due to bad weather but tomorrow is looking like they can get out and the yellowfin are out there.

Yes we do have charters from 4 hr inshore trips to 6 hr tower trips and of course all day offshore for tuna and mahi. We are also now offering crab and shrimp charters as well these trips are 4 hrs long and you will get hands on experience on how to drop crab pot's and how to net shrimp. You keep what you catch and these trips are great fun for the whole family to enjoy and learn how to catch all this food and where it comes from. you also get to enjoy and see a lot of diverse wild life as well. These trips cost 475.00 for up to 6 passengers and at the end of the day you can have one heck of a crab and shrimp boil for everyone.
