Corolla to Nags Head Piers

Happy eclipse day everyone. We have a little slowing on the fishing along the beach but who knows today. Even the local guy's up here are already on the water. We have croaker, mullet, some bluefish and a few pompano. The piers not doing too bad most with some bluefish on them and Jennett's with some small cobia, bluefish, spanish and black sea bass. Inshore has drum and a steady trout bite. Nearshore has spanish, bluefish and drum. Offshore with a good haul of dolphin, yellowfin and some good billfishing as well with 2 grand slams yesterday. Waves today 1 foot and a water temp of 79 degrees. Good luck and let's see what effect if any the eclipse will bring us
