Corolla Fishing Report
Beautiful morning out this morning. Congrats to Dustin from Willmington, NC on his trout !!. I was out of the office yesterday but I understand it was a great day of fishing. The trout fishing was strong with many double hookups. We have had red drum this week and bluefish as well some in the larger range. Overall really good fishing along the beaches. Fresh mullet, finger mullet, and bloodworms have been primarily the bait of choice. The pier action is good. Most of the piers have a good trout bite with Avalon had some drum activity and nags head had 5 big reds and Jennette's had 15 big boy's last night. There are other fish on the piers. No reports for nearshore but there are good size spanish and blues out there. No reports for offshore.
