OBX Bait & Tackle Corolla Outer Banks, Corolla Fishing Report
Saturday, April 6, 2019
Offshore from Oregon Inlet
Inshore from Oregon Inlet
Corolla to Nags Head Piers
Corolla to Nags Head Surf
Corolla to Nags Head Sound

Should be a decent weekend. Most of the reports have been down to the south. The fishing has been good on some big drum, puppy drum, bluefish, mullet and blow toads. Jennette's pier yesterday had a real good puffer bite and a small striped bass also. This morning only a couple of people out and some puffers have been caught so far. The offshore fleet had a couple of boats run for just a few blackfin. The fleet will try and get out today so we will see how they do. Up in Corolla things are still on the slow side and I haven't heard of anything happening as of yet. On the sound side to the north there is good fishing on some big catfish and a good crappie bite too.

Just a reminder it is still slow up here so I am running limited hours from 9 am to 3 pm. We are pretty stocked up on everything you need and the charter desk is open, and like I say every year it's better to book early and reserve your boat.
