Offshore from Oregon Inlet
Inshore from Oregon Inlet
Corolla to Nags Head Piers
Corolla to Nags Head Surf
Corolla to Nags Head Sound

We have sunshine but still cool out. The water temp this morning is at 65 which is not to bad. We do see a wind change and we will heat up tomorrow. We did see some pretty good fishing yesterday with the puppy drum and some decent size mullet. There should be some blues and trout out there but the drum were pretty much the story. They were hitting on both the ocean side and sound side. Of coarse there were some that got nada and it just comes down to location, location around here due to the beach constantly changing. The nearshore fleet doing well with spanish , bluefish and a citation cobia with plenty of trout on the inside. There is also some good puppy drum and striper on the inside if you know where to go. The offshore fleet got it done early yesterday with some big yellowfin and the big eye were out as well. The mahi bite fell a bit but there was enough meat to go around. Some wahoo were bagged and there are blue marlin just waiting for you.

We have some great charters available just give the shop a call at 252-453-3339 and we get you all set up. Are crab and shrimping boats are up and running so a great time to go catch crabs and shrimp for a great boil. We just had some new gifts come in the store so come on in and check out the new stuff. Remember to send those photos in to obxbaitandtackle@yahoo.com and we will proudly post them in the next fish report. We thank you
