Surf Fishing Report:

Fishing slowed a bit yesterday. Buxton had Sea Mullet, Bluefish and Black Drum. A couple of Red Drum were caught at the point. There was an 8.5# Bluefish caught at ramp 43. Frisco had a good Bluefish bite and a 10 lb Sheepshead was beached also.

A few Trout and Sea Mullet scattered on the north beaches. Yesterday was the last day for ORV’s driving KDH and Nags Head until fall.

The winds are E at 6 and the water temp is 59 degrees. Overcast, warmer today, sloppy waves,

Sound Fishing Report:
Could not get a report from the Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway this morning. I am sure there are some small Bass and Trout.

Pier Fishing Report:

Avalon: No report.

Nags Head: Blues, Sea Mullet and small Trout.

Jennette’s: Sea Mullet

Outer Banks: Sea Mullet

 

Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
The sound boats caught Trout, Striped Bass and nice Bluefish.

 

Offshore Boats Report:
Fleet brought in some nice Yellowfin, Dolphin and some Wahoo. Also released a Sailfish.
