In Summary:

To most people, a Monday is just the beginning of another work week, but to us here at TW’s, it’s another beautiful day to go fish! Today the weather here on the beach is right around 60 degrees, sunny and an increasing water temperature of 43 degrees. Hopefully tomorrow, a picture of you and your trophy will be posted on the fishing report!

Surf Fishing Report:
Around town today, fishing has been about the same as the past few weeks. With the cold waters from this winter slowing rising, we should start to see a good showing of Puppy Drum and Trout and then shortly after our spring run of Bluefish, Croakers and Spot in numbers!

Sound Fishing Report:
Nothing in the past few days reported in the sound, but I wouldn’t be surprised if the Puppy Drum and Trout started snapping tomorrow!

Pier Fishing Report:

Avalon: Closed

Nags Head: Closed

Jennette’s: Few Dogfish and Skates

Outer Banks: Closed

Inshore Boats Report:
No inshore charters or private boats have fished in the past day. They’re all awaiting patiently for a tad bit warmer water and for the Bluefish and Spanish to arrive in swarms.

Offshore Boats Report:
In the past few days overall the fishing has been pretty good in the gulfstream. Several boats caught their Bluefins as well as a few Yellowfins and Blackfins. There were actually a few boats that ended up catching their tuna slam! That’s something that you don’t see every day!
