In Summary:

The weather has dropped to the mid to upper 40’s today but we still have plenty of sunshine. The water temperature has continued to rise and is now sitting around 45 degrees. We have northerly winds today around 20 knots which can make it a little difficult to fish but not impossible. Today could be your day!

Surf Fishing Report:
On the northern beaches today we have reports of Dogfish and Skates. I also heard of a 26” Puppy Drum that was caught at Oregon Inlet yesterday so hopefully that’s a start of a good thing! Down south towards Hatteras and Ocracoke, the Puppy Drum fishing continues to be pretty good on given conditions. Have not heard of a big drum in the past couple days.

Sound Fishing Report:
The sound fishing still remains pretty slow due to water temperature and lack of bait. Since the Sound temperature keeps rising, I’m sure that we will see more folks spending much more time back there.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Closed

Nags Head: Closed

Jennette’s: Few Dogfish and Skates

Outer Banks: Closed

Inshore Boats Report:
No reports inshore mainly because no one has tried it thus far.

Offshore Boats Report
We have not had much of a Bluefin report in the past day, however, the Yellowfin fishing has begun! The Yellowfins that have been caught in the past couple days have ranged between 15-35 pounds. Perfect size to take home for sushi! Come by and see us and we will have you out the door ready to catch ‘em!
