Send all questions and pictures to info@twstackle.com

I have pictures of Cobia this morning. Unfortunately, they were not tagged.  If the person in the picture would send their name and the weight of the fish and any other info you would want me to know, I will be glad to run the pictures again with the info.

Surf Fishing Report:

Surf fishing should pick up today with the wind switching North. There should Sea Mullet and larger Bluefish. The water is clear this morning. Bluefish likes clear water because they feed by site. When the water is clear they can be caught on jiggers. Bluefish can be caught on cut bait and bottom rigs when the water is cloudy.

We have N wind this morning at 9. The water temp is 61 degrees.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported a few throwback Flounder, Croaker, Spot and small Trout.

Pier Fishing Report:

Avalon: Sea Mullet.

Nags Head: Catching Blues with “Got chas”.

Jennette’s: Spot and Bluefish.

Outer Banks: Catching Sea Mullet with clam bites and Blues on Got chas.

Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
The Cobia are here. The nearshore captains caught a good number. There was also a good Sand Shark bite.

Offshore Boats Report:
There were plenty of Yellowfin and good catches of Dolphin brought back to the docks Tuesday despite the rain. There were Gaffers and Wahoo also reported.
