Surf Fishing Report:

The Red Drum bite has been good for the last couple of days. They have been reported from one end of the beach to the other. Kerri & Finn Engley said they caught Bluefish and Drum on the rising tide. The 31 in Drum they caught was a tag team effort. A 31 in Drum was caught in Buck Island. He did not give his name (I hate when that happens).

Drum were caught in Nags Head also. I did not hear from the Inlet. I understand there were also plenty of Bluefish and some Sea Mullet.

The winds are N at 5 this morning, switching to NE later. The water temp is 63 degrees.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Croakers, Spot and small Trout.

Pier Fishing Report:

Avalon: Drum, Sea Mullet and Bluefish.

Nags Head: Plenty Bluefish.

Jennette’s: Blues, Spot, Sea Mullet and a keeper Flounder.

Outer Banks: Spot and a good run of Sea Mullet. Water temp is 65 degrees.

Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
Plenty of Bluefish are caught from the nearshore boats.

I have a picture of TW’s Justin Stewart with a 95 lb citation Cobia. I understand he is up a few lbs on his Dads biggest Cobia.

The Headboat is catching some Sea Mullet, Pigfish and Puffers.

Offshore Boats Report:
The bluewater charters are finding the Yellowfin and the Gaffers. There was also a 162 # citation Big-eye caught.
