Surf Fishing Report:

A fantastic day on the Outer Banks.  There has been at least one Drum reported every day in the Ramp 4 area. You never know when it may be you. There are a few scattered bottom fish. Keith Griglak reported a few small Pompano and Black Drum in Corolla. Plus, he caught a keeper Flounder with his 10 week old son on his chest. I have been writing the fishing report for many a year for TW’s, I am pretty sure this is a first.  (See Picture).

We have calm NW wind and the water temp is 79 degrees. Water is calm and clear. A good beach day and a perfect day for ocean paddle boarding.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported small bottom fish.

Pier Fishing Report:

Avalon: Good run of Spanish and Bluefish in the morning.

Nags Head: Spot.

Jennette’s: Bluefish, Pompano, Pinfish and Pigfish.

Outer Banks: Pompano, a few Spanish.

Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
Inshore boaters had a fair day catching Black Sea Bass, Triple Tail, and some Cobia.

The offshore fleet caught abundance of Spanish and Bluefish. Some Albacore was also decked. Miss Oregon Inlet headboat had a good day catching Gray Trout, Sea Mullet, Spot, Sea Bass, and Bluefish.

Offshore Boats Report:
The offshore charters are catching enormous amounts of Mahi-Mahi. There also were 16 Jacks caught. A few White Marlin and Sailfish releases.
