Event Description:

Challenging Behavior: Causes, Intervention, and Prevention

Understanding the reasons a child engages in a challenging behavior is crucial to choosing a response which will successfully change that behavior. Once you can identify the meaning of the challenging behavior, you can identify a plan to change it. Come learn about functional behavior assessments, the three essential parts of any plan for addressing challenging behavior, and a variety of intervention strategies you can use to respond to challenging behavior.
