Leadership & Administration for Success in Early Childhood Programs: Introduction to Leadership-Building Your Leadership Skills
The ability of early childhood program administrators to apply leadership experience, knowledge, and skills is key to the success of the child care program. Administrators need access to formal instructional opportunities that address their complex roles of directors and their many areas of responsibility. This module provides child care center administrators with the opportunity to learn about the importance of leadership in their work as an administrator, and the opportunity to explore their personal leadership skills.
Must Attend Both Evenings - Monday, October 16th and Monday, October 30th.
Participants of Module 1 will:
1) define what leadership is and identify leadership strengths and needs for specific situations.
2) build knowledge and skills in a way that leverages their strengths and helps them improve on self -identified areas of need.
This is the first of 3, 5 hour learning modules. Modules 2 & 3 will be November 27th & December 11th and February 21st & 22nd.
