Event Description:
Eastern Carolina Concert Society presents Billye Brown-Youmans, widely acclaimed performing vocalist; Virginia Wesleyan University instructor; clinician; conductor; and music director at Great Bridge Presbyterian Church in Chesapeake, VA, who is returning to OBX to lead a community choir of local singers in a weekend choral festival of sacred music. Workshops will culminate in a free Choral Festival Concert. The concert will also feature Virginia Symphony Brass and Timpani/Percussion.
Eastern Carolina Concert Society is a 501(c)(3) formed in 2002 for the purpose of highlighting local talent.
